In another incident reported with Coimbatore police, a lady has been
arrested, who impersonated as a famous actress in an online affair… The
person on the other end was a Sri-Lankan settled in Canada Mr Soundar. Who was
bowled over by the beauty, that he went on to spend over Rs 2 Lakh on
her.
He brought her a laptop, a digital camera,
cosmetics, equipment to establish a beauty parlour, a music system and
many other electronic gadgets. Also funded her education.
But
only after he showed her photo to some of his friend in Canada, it was
discovered that the pic was of some actress. And the complaint was
lodged with Coimbatore police, which led to the arrest early this week. |
